On Wednesday 31st July, the topic for Café Psychologique was ‘Loneliness: whose problem is it anyway?’ and it was the most popular café to date. We had 48 people come together, in a pub in Surry Hills to share their experiences and ideas about loneliness.
I’m often touched by the willingness of people to share their experiences in the café and Wednesday night was no exception. The group is respectful, considered and gives me hope for the future in thinking about how we cultivate communities that are connected!
If you would like to come along to a future Café Psychologique, please visit the Meetup page and come along. We are at The Horse Hotel, Surry Hills from 7-9pm on the last Wednesday of every month (apart from December).
